The FIFA World Football Museum is attracting guests from all over the world and, in August alone, saw visitors from some 140 countries.
Work on the museum began nearly two years ago, and the building contractor officially handed the building over to FIFA Museum AG in December 2015. The museum will now open to the public on 28 February 2016.
- The FIFA Ballon d’Or will be presented at the Kongresshaus in Zurich on 11 January 2016, but before the biggest individual award ceremony in world football takes centre stage, the FIFA World Football Museum will host a special exhibition.
- After around 20 months of construction, work has now begun on the interior of the museum, which is due to open in the first quarter of 2016.
- With construction work on the new FIFA World Football Museum in Zurich underway since 2014, the public will be able to enjoy a first impression of what lies in store thanks to the new showroom.
