The FIFA World Football Museum is attracting guests from all over the world and, in August alone, saw visitors from some 140 countries.

Work on the museum began nearly two years ago, and the building contractor officially handed the building over to FIFA Museum AG in December 2015. The museum will now open to the public on 28 February 2016.

The FIFA Ballon d’Or will be presented at the Kongresshaus in Zurich on 11 January 2016, but before the biggest individual award ceremony in world football takes centre stage, the FIFA World Football Museum will host a special exhibition.
