The FIFA Ballon d’Or will be presented at the Kongresshaus in Zurich on 11 January 2016, but before the biggest individual award ceremony in world football takes centre stage, the FIFA World Football Museum will host a special exhibition.
With construction work on the new FIFA World Football Museum in Zurich underway since 2014, the public will be able to enjoy a first impression of what lies in store thanks to the new showroom.
Legendary Italian striker Alessandro Del Piero, former Swiss national coach “Köbi” Kuhn and the five times FIFA Women’s World Player of the year, Marta, FIFA have been touring the FIFA World Football Museum.
Following the completion of the initial dismantling phase in the “Haus zur Enge”, work on building the FIFA World Football Museum can now finally begin.
