The FIFA Museum takes you on a journey back in time to the year 1930. Experience the journey to the first FIFA World Cup™ as if you were there in our new Virtual Reality Experience.
The FIFA Museum presents a brand new Multiplayer Virtual Reality Experience with state-of-the-art VR technology. The experience takes visitors from the museum into the historical atmosphere of the first FIFA World Cup in Uruguay in 1930.
Visitors will travel as journalists from France across the Atlantic to South America on the legendary ocean liner SS Conte Verde. On board are teams, coaches and other journalists full of anticipation as they prepare for the tournament. Once in Uruguay, they will first visit the Estadio Centenario, the venue for the historic final, before getting up close and personal in the heated atmosphere as the teams emerge from the catacombs onto the pitch for the decisive match.
With the new Virtual Reality Experience "The first FIFA World Cup™", the FIFA Museum offers its visitors the opportunity to immerse themselves in the history of football and experience the first FIFA World Cup in a unique way. Using the latest technology and a captivating storyline, an unforgettable experience is created that provides a novel link to the permanent exhibition in the museum.
During the introductory phase of the Virtual Reality Experience, tickets can be bought online or on site at the temporary special price of CHF 10. After the introductory phase, tickets will cost CHF 15 in combination with a valid museum ticket and CHF 19 without a museum ticket (Virtual Reality Experience only). Gameplay is approximately 20-25 minutes. Including check-in, fitting and removal of the equipment, please allow about 40 minutes.
Up to 6 people have the opportunity to experience the unique Virtual Reality Experience at the same time. It is available in German and English. Participants must be at least 120 cm tall and at least 10 years old. Participants under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult (18+) with a valid ticket during the same time slot.
