Andrew Downie from Scotland, who has lived in Brazil for 16 years and reports from there as a foreign correspondent for South American football, will present his groundbreaking biography of perhaps the most revolutionary footballer of all time on Wednesday, 12 July 2017, at 19.30.
Socrates embodied the renaissance enjoyed by Brazilian football in the 1980s like no other player and was also one of the era's brightest football stars off the pitch.
