Registration for the sixth FIFA Interactive World Cup: Local Qualifier event at the FIFA World Football Museum is now open. The winner of this tournament will join Bruno Bardelas, Julian Ulrich, Erhan Kayman, Luca Boller and Andrei Gurev in the final FIFA 17 tournament later this year – the winner of which will earn a wildcard entry to the European Qualifiers for the FIFA Interactive World Cup (FIWC) Grand Final.
This is an exclusive chance to secure a spot at the world's biggest international video game competition, which will be held in in London this year and is offering a cash prize of $200,000 USD. With five competitions already finished, further tournaments will be played at the museum over the coming months. The winners of each of these tournaments will be making up one spot in the final tournament, also held in the museum, to determine the overall winner.
The tournament is limited to 32 players but there is a waiting list in the event of anybody cancelling. Players are entered on a first come first served basis so please do not delay if you are keen.
