On the occasion of this year's International Museum Day under the motto "Hyperconnected museums: New approaches, new publics", the home of football history in Zurich invites visitors to two special public guided tours through the permanent exhibition on Sunday, 13 May 2018.
At the same time, we invite our global digital community to share memories from their first FIFA World Cup™ experiences with the hashtag #MyFirstWorldCup on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram via our social media channels @FIFA Museum.
The special public tours start at 11:00 and 15:00. They last 60 minutes and are held in German.
Our tour guides focus on the exchange of memories of the participants of the very special moments when you consciously experience a World Cup for the first time and link them with objects and stories from the showcases of the various exhibition areas. No pre-registration is required for participation. All you need is a regular ticket.
After the special public tours, participants will of course have the opportunity to digitally share the objects and stories related to their first World Cup memories with football fans from all over the world and thus become part of the hyper-connected museum themselves.
