Since the FIFA World Cup Trophy is absent for the duration of the World Cup in Qatar, the FIFA Museum has asked children to take part in a competition to create their own trophies. For the next few weeks, the winning trophies will be on display in the showcase of the FIFA World Cup Trophy.
A total of 38 teams or individuals took part in the competition and submitted a trophy. Five of these trophies were declared winners and will now be on display at the FIFA Museum for one week each.
The winners are between 8 - 12 years old. All winning teams will be invited to a private tour and meal at the FIFA Museum after the World Cup.
During the week of 13 December to 18 December 2022, the winning trophy of Lina (11), Viola (11), Amanda (11) and Marisol (11) is on display at the FIFA Museum.
