Here is some practical information that you may find useful for your class’s visit to the FIFA Museum.

Information exchange between school and museum

We recommend that teachers visit the museum themselves first to prepare for the class visit. You can plan your visit on the first Wednesday of the month between 15:00 and 17:00.

We will be glad to take you round the museum in a special tour and to have a chat over a cup of coffee. You can also ask us any questions you may have, thus enhancing the relationship between school and museum.

Support for specific themes and location for giving a talk

Football is a fascinating subject in itself or it can be used to improve your knowledge. Our free library is at your disposal and we have experts who will be only too pleased to help you with your research or preparations.

You can also deliver your talk at the home of football history itself and bring your class fully up to date. We could provide support in the form of visual aids or exhibits. Send us your request!

Getting to the museum

The FIFA Museum is located at Tessinerplatz in the centre of Zurich. Our full address is HERE. We recommend travelling to the museum by public transport. School classes that use our partner SBB RailAway to get to the museum benefit from attractive terms.

Food and drink

The Sportsbar 1904 at the FIFA Museum offers a range of tasty dishes. There are also numerous picnic areas in the vicinity of the museum, such as on Tessinerplatz and in the park at the nearby Lake Zurich.
