Invitation from Zubi - The talk

FIFA Museum Seestrasse 27, 8002 Zurich German

“Wembley Goal” and “The Hand of God” – How innovation and technologies are shaping football.

Innovations are impacting our lives daily. With the implementation of goal line technology in 2012, the first obvious technological innovation was integrated within football. New ideas are the football industry‘s driving force to improve comfort, safety and performance aspects of players and referees on the pitch.

In the second edition of the talk format “Invitation from Zubi”, a panel of experts including Johannes Holzmüller (FIFA Director Technology & Innovation) and Adrien Jaccottet (Swiss Professional Referee) will discuss the development and implementation of football technologies with a special focus on the video-assistant-referee.

Together with host Pascal Zuberbühler, the panel will cover the whole process: identification of football stakeholder needs, feasibility analysis of innovation, development of global standards as well as the use of technologies by referees in the game itself.

A talk for everybody who wants to take a glimps behind the scenes of football technologies!
