Guided Tour: Honouring the women who shaped the beautiful game
Celebrate International Women’s Day with us and dive into the powerful, inspiring journey of women in football.
Our special guided tour highlights the trailblazers, turning points, and unforgettable stories that shaped the development of the women’s game around the world.
As we explore the exhibition, we’ll look at key milestones and the individuals and communities whose dedication helped move the sport forward. Inspired by this year’s IWD theme Give to Gain, we’ll also reflect on how support, visibility, and collaboration have played an important role in opening doors for future generations of players.
The 60minute tour will be conducted in German and is free to join with a regular museum ticket. As places are limited, we encourage advance registration.
A second tour in English will take place at 10:30.
Register via edu@fifamuseum.org or at the ticketing desk on the day of the tour.
International Women’s Day is a global celebration of women’s social, economic, cultural, and political achievements. Since its first observance in 1911, it has grown into a global moment of recognition and solidarity. The 2026 theme, Give to Gain, encourages supportive actions, large and small, that help accelerate equality and create opportunities for women everywhere.
