Following the Swiss Federal Council’s decision to relax coronavirus protection measures for museums with effect from 11 May 2020, we are delighted to announce that the FIFA World Football Museum in Zurich will reopen on Tuesday 12 May 2020 at 10:00 CEST.

From this date onwards, visitors can enjoy our permanent exhibition and shop at our regular opening hours (Tuesday to Sunday, 10:00 to 18:00 CEST), subject to all necessary hygiene and safety measures and in line with a specially developed protection concept.

Visitors will be informed of the relevant guidelines at the entrance to the Museum. There will be a limit on the number of people allowed in our exhibition areas at one time. Unfortunately, our library and the following interactive exhibition areas will remain closed until further notice for your safety:

- Be A Commentator
- Cartoons Corner
- Kids Lab (no pens or crafting tools will be available)

Located next to the main entrance to the Museum, Sportsbar 1904 will also reopen on Tuesday 12 May 2020. It will be open from Tuesday to Sunday, 10:00 to 22:00 CEST until further notice in accordance with all necessary hygiene and safety measures.

Please observe the Federal Office of Public Health’s hygiene regulations during your visit to the Museum. We are counting on the personal responsibility and solidarity of our visitors. We recommend contactless payments until further notice.
