Football meets street art: To celebrate International Museum Day, the FIFA World Football Museum held StreetFootballArt - a free, special event for visitors on Sunday, 22 May 2016. As well as the permanent exhibitions on show at the new home of football history, guests from all over the world enjoyed numerous workshops and performances, a photo exhibition, a showcase on graffiti and lots of fun extras too.

Football-infused dance workshops and demonstrations from Frankfurt’s Kelechi Onyele entertained an enthusiastic crowd who were happy to get involved, while six-time footbag world champion and eight-time European footbag champion Tina Aeberli, also from Zurich, gave guests a demonstration of her skills and insight into her fascinating sport too.
“It was a great and entertaining event, said the musuem’s director Stefan Jost.
“I am happy that the special exhibition was so well received and captured the interest of our visitors. Many of the guests got so excited about the performers that they got involved and became part of our program themselves.”
