What actually happens when a World Champion visits the FIFA World Football Museum? On Wednesday January 15th at noon (12 pm), visitors of the FIFA Museum will have an insider’s view on this special occasion. On his visit to Zurich, Argentinian World Champion Mario Kempes will tour the museum and visitors are welcome to join him as he signs the Wall of Champions and is reunited with the same FIFA World Cup Trophy he lifted in 1978. After the tour, visitors will also have the chance to ask for an autograph from the Argentinian star.
Winning the 1978 FIFA World Cup in Argentina was the pinnacle of Kempes’ career. His six goals during the tournament played a vital role in the victory and earned him a place in history as one of only a few players to score twice in a World Cup Final. In total, Kempes earned 43 caps for Argentina, scoring 20 goals and participating in three FIFA World Cups.
Join him as he looks back at some special moments of his career. All you need is a valid ticket for the Museum (to the Online-Ticketshop).
