Whilst the FIFA World Cup Original Trophy left its showcase at the FIFA Museum in Zurich at the start of the year to embark on the Trophy Tour with Coca-Cola, the FIFA World Cup 2026™ Winner's Trophy has now also set off for the tournament.

The journey for the coveted trophy began two days earlier than originally planned. It had been on display in Zurich since the start of the year, with some interruptions, in place of the FIFA World Cup Original Trophy.

As both trophies will be in the host countries of Mexico, Canada and the USA during the World Cup, the showcase at the FIFA Museum in Zurich will remain empty for the time being.

After the tournament, the 2026 FIFA World Cup™ Winner's Trophy will set off for its new home with the future world champions. The FIFA World Cup Original Trophy, on the other hand, will return to Zurich shortly after the tournament and resume its place in the showcase.
