Spain
Spain had participated in 12 editions of the FIFA World Cup™ before it reached its first final in 2010, which it went on to win with a single goal against the Netherlands. La Roja thrived on a tiki-taka style which was definitive of its golden generation, who also claimed a UEFA EURO trophy either side of its World Cup triumph - the first team to do so.
