FIFA World Cup™ and FIFA Women’s World Cup™ trophies on tour

In mid-August, the FIFA World Cup™ Trophy has left its showcase at the FIFA Museum to go on tour. It won't be back until after the FIFA World Cup. The FIFA Women’s World Cup™ Trophy will be away for two weeks in October. World Cup years are really special, not only for football fans, but also for the FIFA World Cup Trophy. The closer the FIFA World Cup gets, the busier its schedule becomes. That is why it will be leaving the FIFA Museum in Zurich on 18 August to embark on the next part of the FIFA World Cup™ Trophy Tour by Coca-Cola, among other things. Then, of course, in November and December, it will be on-site at the FIFA World Cup in Qatar. We expect it to be back at the FIFA Museum in Zurich sometime after the World Cup.

Winners’ trophy on display During the absence of the FIFA World Cup Trophy, we will have the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ Winners’ Trophy on display at the FIFA Museum until it leaves us for Qatar in the autumn. The only day that the showcase is going to be empty will be Sunday, 25 September 2022. The FIFA Women’s World Cup trophy will also leave the museum. But only for two weeks, from 10 to 25 October 2022. During that time its showcase will remain empty.
