Sporting Clube de Portugal president Bruno de Carvalho visited the FIFA World Football Museum on Friday, 15 July 2016. Mr Carvalho was welcomed by our Managing Director Stefan Jost before he was given a tour of the new home of football history - and enjoyed a quick game on the giant Pinball machine too.

"The museum is very good - it is a present! It is full of football memories and stories that enrich your visit. I enjoyed it a lot," he said.

"It's important for people who love football to learn all these stories from FIFA and for them to share them with people in the world.

"You can see the passion for the sport here, and you can see how these stories are shared with visitors to reach the world.

"Congratulations for the amazing museum."

You can enjoy selection of images from Mr Carvalho's visit in the photo gallery above.

Fans of the Portuguese club may be interested to learn that Sporting Clube de Portugal, the same club where players like Luis Figo, Cristiano Ronaldo and Nani first made their break through, actually have their own football museum in Lisbon, which is open to the public.
