Happy Holidays from the FIFA Museum
2025 has been the FIFA Museum’s most international year so far. Never before have we been active on four continents in a single year, bringing football heritage and culture to diverse audiences and building new global connections.
In Zurich, we have recently opened Innovation in Action, a dynamic special exhibition exploring how technology and innovation are supporting football, from the pitch to the broadcast booth and beyond. Following its run in Zurich, the exhibition will travel to Science World in Vancouver next year, bringing these stories of innovation to new audiences in North America.
Already in North America is our exhibition Unidad – The World’s Game that has become our first permanent exhibition on the continent. Spanning two floors of Miami’s iconic Freedom Tower, it immerses visitors in the global heritage of football while highlighting the history of the sport in the United States. In New York, we filmed THE AWAY GAME, our new presenter-led discussion show featuring Jürgen Klinsmann and Carli Lloyd amongst many others. Also in New York, we curated a special exhibition THE LEGACY TUNNEL during the inaugural FIFA Club World Cup™, celebrating the new era of global club football at Michelob Ultra’s Pitchside Club.
Looking at other continents, in South America, we marked FIFA’s 120th anniversary with a special exhibition in Asunción during the 75th FIFA Congress. And in Rabat, our pop-up exhibition Rising Stars: The FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Legends honoured the champions and standout young talents who have shaped the women’s game.
As 2026 approaches, excitement is rising. The biggest FIFA World Cup™ in history is just ahead in the USA, Mexico and Canada — and we look forward to connecting with fans from all around the world and sharing the magic of football on the world’s biggest stage once again.
