FIFA World Cup 2026™ Winner’s Trophy temporarily not on display
From 20 to 22 January 2026, the FIFA World Cup 2026™ Winners' Trophy will not be on display in the FIFA World Cup Gallery at the FIFA Museum in Zurich, but will return to the showcase from Friday, 23 January 2026.
The Winner’s Trophy has been occupying the space of the original FIFA World Cup Trophy while it is on a global tour with the FIFA Trophy Tour by Coca-Cola. However, from 20 to 22 January it will be temporarily absent, leaving the the showcase empty – but not for long. As of Friday, 23 January 2026, the Winner's trophy will be back on show at the FIFA Museum, giving visitors the chance to see this special piece of football history up close.
The FIFA Museum has many more highlights in store, of course. Alongside the countless significant exhibits from the history of the FIFA World Cup tournaments, visitors can now discover the FIFA Club World Cup™ trophy – which was added to the permanent exhibition at the beginning of this week. It allows visitors to experience one of the newest and most important symbols of the modern game, within the context of football’s wider history.
